The 2010 Returned Missioner Retreat was held in Allenspark, Colorado at Camp St. Malo from May 14-17. Returned Missioners gathered from across the world, some traveling from as far as the Philippines and Guatemala to attend and renew one another in lifelong mission. The 30 Returned Missioners who attended found that they were able to to strengthen their commitment to mission and the Franciscan charism by connecting with one another and through a time of prayer and reflection led by Srs. Elizabeth Fuhr, OSF and Antonia Anthony, OSF. Kim Smolik and Fr. George Corrigan, OFM (Returned Missioner, Kenya, 1996-1999) inspired all with a presentation about the current state of FMS and helped facilitate a dialogue about the future of mission and FMS.
