PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Program Director holds an important leadership position at FMS. S/he works closely with the Executive Director to provide the vision, leadership and execution of FMS' goals and priorities. This individual is a mature, seasoned professional prepared to balance organizational leadership as well as program planning and delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS:
- M.A. degree in related field (Divinity, Theology, Education, Social Work, other) or equivalent
- 5+ years full-time experience in program development/implementation
- 5+ years experience in management/leadership
- 2+ years experience living internationally
- Demonstrated familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching and the Franciscan charism
- Demonstrated commitment to one's own Catholic faith
- Background/experience in spiritual direction, counseling, or related field
- Extensive group facilitation experience
- Self-directed and motivated
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking
- Able to travel internationally and domestically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
PREFERRED:
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience working or serving in a full-time volunteer/mission program
