20th Anniversary Benefit & Celebration
Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM, a Franciscan priest and founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation, presented the keynote address. He is an author and speaker internationally known for his powerful and inspirational messages.

Award Recipients
  • Sr. Barbara Fried, SMIC and the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception were our Sixth Annual Anselm Moons, OFM Award recipients. Sr. Barbara received the award for her 17 years of devotion to FMS, designing the formation program's curriculum and building fundraising strategies. The Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception were also honored for their contributions to FMS both through staffing and funding.
  • Fr. George Corrigan, OFM, received the Second Annual Joseph Nangle, OFM, Lifelong Mission Award for his steadfast commitment to both international and local mission, his service in Kenya as a FMS missioner, his work at his parish in downtown Tampa, FL, and his consistent support of FMS.
